How Spur for Cavalry handles information. Last updated: September 12, 2026
1. Information we collect
We may receive purchase name, email, country, payment status, order and license status (but not full card numbers), license activation identifiers, a one-way hash derived from the Mac platform identifier, app version and device label, support messages, website access logs, and technical information needed to investigate faults. We do not receive the underlying Mac platform identifier from the app.
2. How we use it
We use information to verify purchases and licenses, enforce the two-Mac activation limit, deliver the installer, provide support, prevent abuse, improve the service, comply with law, and send essential notices.
3. Local processing
Spur for Cavalry operation logs are processed locally by default. We do not automatically collect scene contents or local logs unless you choose to send them for support.
4. Service providers
Polar handles checkout, order management, license-key issuance, and activation records. Cloudflare provides web delivery, license verification endpoints, security, and access logging. Each provider processes information under its own privacy terms, potentially outside your country.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal information or disclose it without consent except where required by law, necessary to protect rights, or required for the providers described above.
6. Retention and security
We retain information as needed for delivery, contractual, tax, legal, and dispute obligations, then delete or anonymize it using reasonable methods. We apply reasonable access controls and security measures.
7. Your requests
Requests to access, correct, delete, or restrict information will be handled after identity verification as required by applicable law.
